Characters

Shun (Andromeda)
Andromeda is a quiet,
sensitive 17 year-old guy who really doesn't
want to fight.
He'd rather have a nice conversation with his foe and make him see the
errors of his ways. Doesn't usually work out that way, though. Fortunately
when pressed, Andromeda can fight with the best of them. His powers lie in
his armour, which features the Chain of Nebula, with which he can wrap
enemies or strike them as with whips. The chains also seem to sense danger
and act automatically to defend Andromeda.

Shiryu (Dragon)
Dragon is a few
years older than Seiya, and the most serious of the Bronze Knight. In
fact, he comes across as someone pompous, conceited and full of himself,
but his affection and loyalty to his fellow Bronze Knights are firm and
true. Trained in China by his sensei, the Yoda-like Rochi, Dragon controls
the waters and oceans, and can summon the Power of the Dragon, which takes
the form of a huge spiritual dragon. Dragon has a dragon tattoo on his
back which reflects his own injuries in fights (if he's hit in the mouth,
the tattoo appears to bleed, etc.) Dragon also has a vulnerable spot over
his heart - if he's hit solidly there he might die.

Seiya (Pegasus)
Seiya is the
youngest of the Zodiac Knights, at about 13. He is precocious and
powerful, with an impulsive nature, a sarcastic wit and a short temper.
The other Bronze Knights treat him a bit like a little younger brother at
first, until his great powers, courage and sheer drive force them to
accept him as a equal. Seiya was trained in Greece by the warrioress
Marin, whose lessons about his powers and about life he took to heart. His
special power is the Pegasuys Metor Punch, which allows him to hit an
opponent about a hundred times in a second. Seiya has a love/hate
relationship with sienna, pledges his loyalty to her and finding the Gold
Cloth of Sagittarius.

Ikki (Phoenix)
Phoenix is the
arch-rival of the Knights of Athena. His self-sacrificial upraising on
Death Queen Island (Island of Doom) seems to have warped him considerably.
As the series begins, Phoenix is given to fits of uncontrollable laughter
for no apparent reason, and is motivated by both lust for power and desire
to destroy the Bronze Knights. Phoenix is the most powerful Bronze Knight,
with the ability to create firestorms, as well as teleport himself and
psychically attack his opponent's mind.

Hyoga (Swan)
Swan is a
snowboarder dude of about 18, and speaks in full surfer/snowboarder slang.
He's always cracking jokes and mouthing off, except when he's remembering
his mother, who died aboard a sinking ship. Trained in Siberia, swan
controls ice and snow - he can freeze anything and cause snow storms. |
